Error Message - No Connection to Calculator?
These errors occasionally happen when the software has not been entered into the windows registry incorrectly (often caused by anti-virus software being active during installation). Before taking the following steps, make sure your Arcon software has been closed. The way to resolve this is to navigate to the start menu and Start>Run (in XP).
To open the 'Run' dialogue in Windows Vista you can press the WINDOWS KEY (left of ALT, on left side of SPACEBAR) and R together. Alternatively you can add it to your Windows menu (see here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-run-command-on-windows-vista-start-menu/) for how to do this if you require, but it's not necessary if you just use the keyboard shortcut detailed above).
So type the following (or copy/paste) in the 'Run' box (all of the red text). The example below id for Arcon 3D Architect. If you are using one of the other titles the process is exactly the same but you will need to change the file path to the appropriate one for your specific software title.
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Eleco\ARCON 3D Architect\Program\AcCtrls.ocx" and hit enter
followed by
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Eleco\ARCON 3D Architect\Program\mbutil.dll" and hit enter.
Then try your software again and you should be up and running.
